“Photography is a love affair with life.” Burk Uzzle (1938)
As I was thinking what to write about today I was reminded of the fact that inspiration is not born in a moment, but carried within.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I also believe that Inspiration is in the soul of the beholder.
There is no definition, there is no rule, and there is no structure.
There simply is, inspiration…
Inspiration is not found in what you see, but in how you view things.
Inspiration is not found in what you hear, but in actually listening.
Inspiration is not found in what you do, but in how you do things.
Inspiration is not found in where you go, but in how you get there.
That is something I feel every time I write a post or press on the camera shutter button to make a picture. Yes, you read correctly, make a picture. As Ansel Adams (Photographer, 1902-1984) said, “You don’t take a photograph, you make it“ – which is completely true.
Every great creation can be “composed” with the eyes and mind – but it can only be felt with the soul.
The soul where every ounce of inspiration is born and resides in. Inspiration that translates into creativity. Creativity which consequently takes form and shapes into an entity.
So, every time you embark into a new venture, remember – look inside and tap into your inner source of inspiration. You will never be left disappointed.
“You see things; and you say, ‘Why?’ But I dream things that never were; and I say, ‘Why not’?” – George Bernard Shaw
Good vibes only and have a great day!
